Whenever I’m recommending Robert’s work to someone, I always start with their Dark Olympus series. It combines my love of Greek mythology with romance and a bit of mafia-esque violence and intrigue. My favourite of the whole series, so far, would have to be Wicked Beauty. It follows Helen Kasios (inspired by Helen of Troy) as she fights for her own hand in marriage in a dangerous tournament of skill, strategy and violence. But can she trust the alluring pair, Patroclus and Achilles, with whom she has formed an unlikely alliance? You’ll have to read it and find out!

Learn My Lesson

Next up is Robert’s Wicked Villains series. Do you sometimes find yourself rooting for the villain when watching a Disney movie? Well, Roberr has written a whole series dedicated to beloved villains and how they taunt and taint the heroes of their stories. My favourite in this series is Learn My Lesson, which follows Hades, Hercules and Megaera. Hercules is determined to save Megaera from Hades, but has he fallen right into a trap? And what if he starts to enjoy being a captive… It explores BDSM, exhibitionism, kink, and so much more. It is one of Robert’s most erotic novels. Definitely worth checking out.

The Demon’s Bargain

Finally, for the more anatomically adventurous readers, we have the A Deal With A Demon series, which follows a group of humans who have pledged seven years of their lives in exchange for something they desperately desire. Those seven years will be spent with a monstrous entity trying to seduce. Each book features a different creature, like a dragon or a kraken, but my favourite would be The Demon’s Bargain.  It doesn’t follow one of the core humans, but the demon, Ramanu, assigned to protect them and the witch they have their eye on. When this witch summons them for a demonic deal to return a fairly heirloom, Ramanu is more than pleased to help, even if the witch is hesitant to pay the seven-year price tag. It’s hot, spicy with a hint of vengeance.

Angels & Devils

Are you a saint or a sinner? Well, on Halloween, you get to pick. All you need is a set of wings and either a halo or some horns. For an angelic outfit, wear white or soft pastels and keep your make-up light and sparkly. For the devilish, red and black are your colours for the night and dark, sharp make-up will add a wicked edge to your costume. Don’t forget to play up your costume throughout the night, especially if you can be the devil whispering in someone’s ear.

Sexy Animals

Our last suggestion was made famous by Legally Blonde, but you don’t have to be a bunny. Any cute animal will do, just find a pair of animal ears and maybe a tail to match. For the truly confident, you can wear lingerie or a bodysuit with tights and heels. Otherwise, matching animal print will do. Then spend the rest of the night running wild on the town.

This year’s Adult Industry Choice Awards (AICA) is drawing close. Harlots Canberra is nominated for two awards, ‘Best Brothel’ and ‘Best Escort Agency’, so we thought we would tell you all about it.

History

Sebastian Ryan founded the AICA five years ago. His experience and knowledge of both the adult industry and event management made it the perfect venture. In 2025, Ryan stepped back to pursue other passions. Million Billion Media then acquired the AICA. They plan to bring forth a new era of sophistication and inclusion to the awards.

What To Expect & What To Expect

This year’s award ceremony will take place on November 30th at the Brisbane Showgrounds and will be hosted by Rob Mills. Tickets for the awards cost $399 (with a discount to industry workers) and include red carpet arrival, a three-course meal, an all-evening drinks package and a premium gift bag plus complimentary entry to the SXhibition all weekend.
